Brief description of the project:

The chapel is situated in the bay on the north of Storsand. It starts on small peninsula near city and continues to the sea. It is orientated towards an uninhabited opposite bank.

The chapel is composed from boards which are turned perpendicular at the beginning and they are turning itself gradually to parallel position. The space inside widens through the different positions of the boards. This also allows different infiltration of light inside. The boards are connected together at the top in different angles. The individual who is going through the chapel is gradually shifting from the surrounding world to a calm place for prayer and meditation.
