In this project cities are “described” not only through their most important and significant buildings, but they are also show their typical kind of habitations. The considered metropolis, which are New York, Paris, Amsterdam e Beijing, replace the four seeds.

This new system of seeds allows playing normally while teaching in a fun way some architectures. The game therefore becomes more interesting and involving and, moreover, you can create as many seeds as you want with different cities. Children, who do not know the numbers yet, can play with those cards trying to group them by seed and than creating sequences of 13 cards, like some kind of puzzle.

The general architecture of the deck is slightly different from the traditional one: the cards with the numbers 11, 12 and 13 replace the cards J, Q and K and are represented by the most emblematic buildings. Numbers from 2 to 10 are represented by the typical habitation of each city and the value of the card is given by the number of windows or lamps. Aces are represented as numbers with a text showing the name of the town. The two Jokers are displayed as the back of a postcard, which is purposely left blank in order to underline the possibility of the player to choose whatever seed he wants.
