“I am unquestionably deformed by relationships with everything that surrounds me.” Walter Benjamin
I was born into a landscape of dark granite mountains and came to call my home the cliffs bathed by the light and water of the Tagus river. This transition and many others since then have had a great part in the molding of the person that I am now and, of course, of the way I have come to think architecture. Alongside my moving to Lisbon from Covilhã to study architecture in Faculdade de Arquitectura da Universidade de Lisboa, I should mention my moving to Tampere for a year of exchange studies, as well as my moving to Istanbul for a summer internship as events that have nurtured in me a joy of travelling. It is this joy of moving between ideas, times and places that I wish to share through 3NTA.
